Margarita Island

Located just 200 miles off South America's northeastern coast, is the Venezuelan Island of Margarita. Margarita Island is 360 square miles with about 100 miles of coast. Arid, desert-like conditions exist in the southwestern area of Margarita where you will see cactus amid beach front palm trees. The island interior will hold surprises including a rain forest, mangrove sanctuaries and breathtaking mountaintops. Quaint coastal cities, colonial plazas, church and forts offer interesting diversions for daytime exploration. Casual island style, open air beachfront bars and restaurants dominate night life in the beach town of Playa El Agua, where our small resort is located on a two mile long white sandy beach. Most of the island's casinos, clubs and golf courses are located in Porlamar, between 5 to 30 minutes away. We are located about 30 minutes drive from the Caribbean International Airport "General Santiago Mariño or Porlamar as it is called.

The island of Margarita belongs to Venezuela and is situated off the north coast of the mainland. Margarita island is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. The adult vacation resort is in Playa El Agua, which is situated on the North East Coast of Isla Margarita (Pearl Island). Margarita is actually two islands joined together by one bridge. The west island is mainly uninhabited and is very dry and barren, whereas the east side is a little less dry and contains the major cities and shops. Margarita island is duty free so everything is reasonable to buy, especially electrical goods, gold and pearls.

Playa El Agua is the longest beach on this Caribbean adult vacation Island, stretching for more than 3.5 kilometers. Along the beachfront you will find shops, bars and restaurants, serving a large variety of both local and international cuisine.

Locals walk the beach daily offering a large variety of handicrafts, including hammocks, pearls, sculptured artifacts, pottery etc. You are also able to purchase a large variety of locally produced food, along with bikinis, wraps, beach games, towels and bags.
Weather on the island

As Margarita is in the Caribbean, the weather is good all year round and the temperatures do not vary greatly. The majority of the rain falls in December and January but normally during the night. Average temperatures during the day are 30 degrees C (about 90 degrees Fahrenheit) and during the night 24 degrees C (about 78 degrees Fahrenheit). On the coast there is always a pleasant breeze from the sea, which means it is not too humid.
